KANSAS CITY FLUTE CHOIR
MISSION STATEMENT

The Kansas City Flute Choir, founded in 2005, is dedicated to providing a unique musicalexperience to flutists of all ages in the greater Kansas City area; to providing an outlet for flutistswho are unable to find another school or community music ensemble in which to play; and toexposing Kansas City audiences to new and innovative repertoire. The flute choir also seeks todevelop musicianship and leadership skills through its mentoring program, and to give youngmusicians experience playing and performing on instruments to which they would not have accessotherwise. The Kansas City Flute Choir is an equal opportunity organization devoted to promoting harmony, fellowship, and unity through music.
