"Today a family friend of ours took us to a flute concert by the Kansas City Flute Choir. There were so many different flutes and all different kinds (some I'd never seen and don't know the names of), but they all sounded as one, since they were so in tune and so together. They all looked so passionate about the flute, and I just thought it was very interesting and inspiring. I decided I want to be "that girl" who can play any kind of flute and well!"
