"I recently attended the Kansas City Flute Choir’s spring concert. What a pleasant afternoon of beautiful music. The theme was 'Postcards From the British Isles.' The first and lengthy piece was titled Hebrides and was accompanied by a video screen showing of delightful scenes of the Irish Sea, cliffs, castles and pastoral panoramas from these islands. Great audio and visual art! The second half of the program was also well executed musically and featured shorter pieces, including joyful Scottish dances. I have attended their Christmas concerts and several others and appreciate the quality of the music. The Flute Choir allows talented flute players to add one more venue to Kansas City’s cultural offerings."
